I have following roles with a Leading Bank in Singapore.

1. Murex Developer :
Experience in the complete product lifecycle for FXO and Interest Rate derivatives
-Knowledge of FXO and Interest Rate Derivatives
-Knowledge of Murex or another major derivative vendor system. Experience with the implementation of a major derivative system (vendor or proprietary) preferred
-Knowledge of Murex workflow, batch process, reporting and configuration
-Excellent knowledge of the SDLC in all aspects
-Experience and Knowledge with Java or C++, Unix Scripting, SQL, Sybase/Oracle, XML and Perl

2. Murex Support Analyst: – Interact with the business users to gather the requirements and assist the UAT – Design and develop smart and scalable solutions for the Middle and Back Office – Coordinate with other teams in Technology – Provide 2nd line support – Technical Skills on Murex.

3. Murex Project Manager: – Experience in the complete product lifecycle for FXO and Interest Rate derivatives – Knowledge of FXO and Interest Rate Derivatives – Knowledge of Murex or another major derivative vendor system. Experience with the implementation of a major derivative system (vendor or proprietary) preferred – Knowledge of Murex workflow, batch process, reporting and configuration – Excellent knowledge of the SDLC in all aspects – Experience and Knowledge with Java or C++, Unix Scripting, SQL, Sybase/Oracle, XML and Perl

Maltem is looking for 3 Murex consultants for an upgrade project in Singapore from July to December
• 1 Murex MxML: Developer on MxML Exchange, knowledge of Xslt and of Murex functions. Back office and Middle office business knowledge is a plus.
• 1 Murex BA/Support: Strong functional knowledge of Murex, preferred commodities or equity derivatives knowledge. Good understanding of Risk Management within Murex and trade lifecycle.
• 1 Murex Technical: minimum of 5 years Murex technical support with strong Unix and SQL knowledge
Rates will be from 700Euros to 1000Euros according to experience, with 15% tax.

In theory, during Back Office EOD due to all the critical operations you need to have no operations during the execution, it is way safer. So hopefully, It is not a new trade inserted in the system. Those trades should be already in the system then(but I can be wrong). From that what might be wise to do is to focus on the time the update is [...]

Certainly we would be sending the dumps to murex for investigation(with my boss consent),(also the solution we implemented was with Murex consent)

Problem :
the M_TYPE=1 and M_ORIG_UID=0 in CR_DD_DBF table seems to be flipped to M_TYPE=2 and ORIG_UID = ( the UID number itself)(which is why the DD template is not seen in the selection list)
So this drills down to some activity which is causing an UPDATE to this row in the database. (ideally when a new trade is booked on a curve using DD template the TYPE is set to 2 and the [...]

Is it occuring during an EOD ?Process maybe should you start to drill down from that particular point(Scripts,Processes,Tables,also processes,Market Data feeding) ,I had quite of a similar issue on a 2.11 during an EOD process the help of Murex can be very usefull if as I guess maybe you do not have all the access.It might be nothing in the end but maybe is it better for you to solve the problem once it for all,so if you can not analyze all the elements maybe with the agreement of your project manager you should be [...]

Have you tried restarting the app server once you encounter such issue (default details template has gone missing)?

If I were you I would try to contact Murex and send a secured dump , they will find the right cause ,and propose a more viaible solution.Maybe focus on why it is gone missing (your template).
