I cannot confirm that. We have had to roll-back transactions and found that afterwards the data were in an inconsistent state. In other words: The app was _not_ putting everything that belongs together into one transaction in the DB.

That said, I agree that the vast majority of inconsistency issues is due to user input and has no technical background. So user actions should be the focus of improving data consistency. [...]
